Cheap Healthy Dog Treat Alternatives
Dog treats are very expensive now a days. $5.99, $9.99 and even $19.99 for one bone. Often times filled with hundreds of artificial ingredients. When training your American Eskimo cheap healthy dog treats really come in handy.

Baby Carrots - You would be amazed by how much dogs like baby carrots. The best part is, you can buy a whole 2lb bag for about $2.00. These can be given out when they return from doing their business outside as a reward. The baby carrots can even be broken in half or thirds to be used as a great training treat as well.
Marrow Bones - These are great frozen for dogs and they are super healthy. You can find them at the meat department of your grocery store in the frozen section. They are arm/leg bones of the cow that are filled with bone marrow. Dogs will go crazy for them and it will keep then ocupied for hours. Makes a good treat on a hot day.
Ice Cubes - Although this one does not fill the dog up, but is also a very nice treat for your dog on a hot day. Just make sure the ice is not to large. You can place it in a plastic bag and smash it on the ground, then give the ice to your dog.
Apple Slices - Have you left your apple out for to long and it started to turn a little brown? Gie it to your American Eskimo! Apples are very healthy for dogs and are rich in vitamins. Just do not give it to them whole. Remove the seeds as seeds and nuts of any kind are very bad for dogs.
